Central Florida's Premiere Sport Pilot Training Center

Sport Pilot Flight Training - Orlando, FL

Since man first tilted his head skyward, he has always dreamt of flight. To soar above the highest-flying birds, to look down on clouds as you climb skyward, to land at a new airport as the sun casts its last rays on the horizon, this is the work of aviators.

"I am so grateful that I chose First Landings Aviation for attaining my sport pilot rating. The instructors at First Landings Aviation made my two weeks of intensive flight training a very pleasant experience. The Apopka Airport is a perfect facility to train at. The Remos G3-600 aircraft that you use for training are new, state of the art designs, that are not only fun and economical to fly, but expose the new aviator to the latest "glass" cockpit and state of the art electronics.

Having had the opportunity to fly with both you and Adam, I can say that you are both great aviators - in addition to being wonderful instructors. I really appreciate the efforts you went to to accommodate my specific training needs. Your training was flexible, comprehensive, and effective.

I plan on passing on the word about First Landings Aviation and look forward to flying with you as often as possible in the future. As you can see in the attached photo, I am very proud of what you allowed me to accomplish!"

Thank you again!

From your first visit to our facility, you will notice the quality of our programs, from our knowledgeable ground school, to our experienced flight instructors, to our constant commitment of providing the highest level of training and maintenance available.

First Landings Aviation provides a safe, fun, and affordable learning environment. Once you earn your Sport Pilot rating with us, the sky is the limit.

Become a Sport Pilot

The Sport Pilot rating allows you to complete your training in as little as 20 hours of flight time, all while flying to the same standards as a Private Pilot. The flight time is less than the 40 hours required for a Private Pilot because night and instrument training has been eliminated.

Light Sport Aircraft are equipped with the latest safety equipment, ranging from traffic and weather information displayed in the cockpit, to recovery parachutes for the entire aircraft.

Over 100 Light Sport Aircraft manufacturers are responsible for well over 100 models of aircraft, so Sport Pilots can fly a diverse fleet of aircraft that are both technologically advanced and built from the latest materials, such as carbon fiber and Kevlar.

As a Sport Pilot, you are free to fly anywhere in the United States, all while burning anywhere from 3-5 gallons of fuel per hour at speeds of over 120 miles per hour.

Now Offering Private Pilot

First Landings Aviation is now offering Private Pilot flight training in our Remos and PiperSport aircraft. If you’re a Sport Pilot looking to transition to a Private, we can make the transition easy and affordable. Have your sights set on the Private Pilot license and want to skip the Sport Pilot rating entirely?  We can help.
