With your Discovery flight you get a half hour flight that begins with a lesson from one of our certified flight instructors who demonstrate pre-flight and flying techniques. After climbing aboard a light sport aircraft, the certified pilot will taxi down the runway, explaining the process along the way, and lift the plane into the air. For the next half hour, you steer on metal wings as the plane soars through the pastel skies. Once the journey ends, the pilot will retake reins and float over the treetops for a landing back at the aviation school followed by a debriefing.

Space Coast Tour Discovery Flight!

The space shuttle may no longer be flying but you can be! On our Space Coast Tour Discovery Flight you'll board one of our light sport aircraft with one of our skilled flight instructors. Departing east you'll get to experience some of the exciting views that Central Florida has to offer, downtown Orlando will pass by to the south, a fly over of the UCF campus, and finally end up at the coast.  The first thing to come into view as you approach the coast is the monstrous Vehicle Assembly Building, once used to assemble Saturn V rockets and most recently for assembling the space shuttle. Scattered around the area you'll also be able to spot several launch pads, and if Air Traffic Control allows you'll get to make a low pass along the Space Shuttle runway. Along with viewing all the NASA facilities we'll head over Port Canaveral, where on some days many of the cruise ships are docked.

Expect to spend 2-3 hours total for this tour. Your tour will start with a pre-flight briefing that will fill you in on the details of the flight, your route, and some basics about the aircraft. In the air you can enjoy the views and take pictures or if you like you will be at the controls flying the airplane while your instructor handles the radios.

NEW Disney Theme Parks Discovery Flight!

In this flight of imagination you'll get to experience not only the wonders of flight but also the magic of Disney. On our Disney Theme Park Discovery Flight you'll board one of our light sport aircraft with one of our skilled flight instructors. Departing south you'll get to experience some of the exciting views that Central Florida has to offer, you'll fly over Lake Apopka, see downtown Orlando off to the ease, and finally end right over the Disney Theme Parks.  The first thing to come into view as you approach the parks is the Castle and Space Mountain. Scattered around the area you'll also be able to spot several resort hotels operated by Disney, and if Air Traffic Control allows you'll get to make a couple circuits of the parks before departing back to the north.

Expect to spend 1-2 hours total for this tour. Your tour will start with a pre-flight briefing that will fill you in on the details of the flight, your route, and some basics about the aircraft. In the air you can enjoy the views and take pictures or if you like you will be at the controls flying the airplane while your instructor handles the radios.
